Homemade sorbet (berry good)

You can find the recipe of the homemade berry good sorbet here: https://ensalades.com/2013/10/22/homemade-sorbet-berry-good/

At the moment, it seems that I cannot get enough of these organic frozen mixed berries.

I enjoy them on their own with a zest of lemon or lime or make my own sorbet

So tasty, you would not believe how easy it is to make your own sorbet or ice creams without any unnecessary and refined ingredients!

Nutrition tips of the day

By freezing the fruits soon after harvesting, the nutrient content is often preserved. Frozen fruits are less altered by the transport from the farm to the shop, room temperature where they are stored, etc,… With minimum processing you can end up with frozen fruits with a higher nutrient value than other fresh products.

Among plant foods, true berries are good antioxidants. They are rich in resveratrol, ellagic acid, quercetin and anthrocyanidins. They are anti-inflammatory and as you know important to prevent cancer. They are also rich in vitamin C, E, B5 & B9 as well as manganese, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, copper, magnesium and iron.
